I only played one of these, and it was Journey, so I didn't play it so much as I held the thumbstick forward for an hour and yawned a lot.
I think we'll get them both within like a month of eachother, making for an expensive Christmas 2013 lol.
The title is fine and the game has been rating pretty well.
Yeah.. you're welcome to it, Canada.
Signed the rest of the world.
:P
Perfect for you then.
Rare made the games they made, dude. I happen to think their output over the past decade has been very good, but if people within the company aren't happy they only have themselves to blame.
How about 'Wee Wii'?
Cause it was really good?
Hell no, lol. Metacritic is great as an overview of whether a game was deemed broadly good or bad, but it's far too blunt an instrument to create best of lists from (assuming such lists are even worth creating, which they're probably not).
I'd welcome it on as many platforms as possible
So the main complaint is that this is an arcade game, designed to be short and played repeatedly with the goal of getting better, so as to complete it by spending the minimum amount of money?
Can't wait to get this game, goddamn can't wait.
I laughed at "a staggering £45" - this is LIFE CHANGING MONEY!
Slow compared to Mario Kart and LBP Kart?
I would ignore the reviews for this game to be honest, it's going to be the 'whipping boy' of the Wii U launch crop - arcade game, easy target, no-one's heard of it etc., so every comedian of the game review circuit will be filling their boots. Wank! Wank! Wank! -- that's HILARIOUS, JIMMY.
His complaints about the controls range from exaggeration to outright pish - as you'll know the game is fast-paced and the tanks are nimble.
And if ...
Reminds me of some of the early PS3 multiplatform games.
I'll just stick to Wii U exclusives for the first little while - luckily enough there's stacks of good ones.
So much for these Mario games being 'churned out', lol.
Insulting because it clearly has nothing of the scope, depth and quality of those games, and I'm sure the teams that made them are left scratching their heads as to why their mammoth efforts are being overlooked in favour of this no-action snooze fest.
Spot on Nintendo. Let the amateurs sell their games for 99p - that's as much as they're worth.
Yeah, this guy now follows me around and comments on my posts, lol.
And I don't have to try at all to slam Journey, it's easy!
